A piece of advice--you will not impress a woman by constantly talking about how successful you are and how much money you have.
I'll let that sink in.
It's true.
Some women may be impressed with that kind of stuff on the surface and may choose to see you a few more times because it's fun to eat at fancy restaurants or drive around in sports cars. But ultimately...it's like Lil' Orphan Annie said: "it's what you wear from ear to ear....and not from head to toe, that matters..." I don't care HOW much your custom made suits cost and how many of them you have. If you can't tell a decent joke...you might as well be wearing dog poop. Oh, you have a Rolex?? How nice. Can you participate in a conversation without being totally creepy? No? Then it's time (see what I did there??) for you to move on to your next sucker. You MUST be an intellectual, since your desert island movie is Hamlet. Mine is Dazed and Confused. BOOM.
Seriously--all you do when you constantly refer to your money, your car, who you know, how many nights a week you eat at the fancy restaurant, and the upscale subdivision in which you live, is make me think you're overcompensating for something. You come across insincere and insecure. If your conversation skills revolve around manipulating me to get me to ask about your latest fancy vacation, how AWESOME it is that you used to work out with Richard Dreyfuss, how you were discovered as a model (ahem...excuse me for snorting Merlot out my nose), or which country road you've gotten your car up to 200mph, then you're talking to the wrong girl.
In the words of the poet Shania Twain: "That don't impress me much."
Often I find myself impressed by what hasn't been accomplished...
