Advice from a Home Renter

I rent my home out for Notre Dame football games. If you're thinking about getting into the bizzness, here's some words of wisdom:

1. Count your silverware
2. Have your own sheets and have "renter's" sheets. You'll sleep better, believe me.
3. Leave a note, explaining how an indoor toilet works.
4. Look around your house. Think of it in terms of "What could be used as a ping pong ball?"
5. Check the refrigerator before you start cursing the renters. They may have left you bacon.
6. Check the freezer before you place an angry call about a broken mirror. They may have left you vodka.
7. If they left you PBR, go ahead and place the call.
8. Encourage them to meet your neighbors, preferably after 1am
9. Leave your latest restraining order up on the fridge.
10. Leave a list of odd jobs you'd like them to do while they're there.
