Now I Know Who Took My Shoes

The local paper is reporting today that our police squad raided two businesses on suspicion of buying and selling stolen items. One was a gas station and one was a "food mart," close to campus, that I drive by sometimes. I've never been in the "food mart" but my drive-by-guesstimate is that it's about the size of small motor home. An Airstream.

The paper says that they confiscated high end electronics at both places and--get this--over 1,000 pairs of counterfeit shoes at the "food mart." 1,000 pairs of shoes. This is what I think it looked like

"Pssssst....you wanna buy some shoes???"
